Who we are
PoloniaStudy was founded by Jarosław and Joanna Podsiadło – a family team with combined 50+ years of business business experience – gained across consultancy, hospitality, real estate, agency, travel and media industries. We opened up ‘PoloniaStudy’ consultancy because we believe every student deserves a safe and honest, supported journey to their new life in Poland.
Our team grew naturally – Canan Ozel joined us through a shared passion for helping students feel at home abroad. Originally from Istanbul, where she managed student residences for 10 years, Canan brings something no agency can teach: the human touch that makes the difference between a student who struggles and a student who thrives.
Jarosław Podsiadło – Co-founder & CEO
Jarosław brings 30+ years of experience in commercial strategy. As Vice President at Kearney consultancy for 20 years, he led 100+ projects for 70+ clients across 30 countries. Before that, he led marketing for companies like Coca-Cola, P&G and Tchibo, and wrote articles for Harvard Business Review. He spent 5 years living abroad (India, Malaysia, US, Hungary, Czech and others) including a year of studying in the UK. At PoloniaStudy Jarosław brings his all-round business accumen and customer support focus.

Joanna Podsiadło –Co-founder, University Relations & Consular Support
Former Director at a Media & Advertising Agency and Managerial position at TVN (Poland’s largest private television network) – where she managed acquisitions, development and advertising projects. Joanna studied Political Science and journalism, including a year in Belgium and knows firsthand what it means to navigate a new country, a new system and a new life. At PoloniaStudy she is responsible for university partnerships in Poland and consular support for students.

Canan Ozel – Student Support & Turkey Relations
Originally from Istanbul, Canan managed student residences for 10 years before joining PoloniaStudy. She understands what it means to be far from home – and makes sure every Turkish student in Poland feels supported, not just administratively, but emotionally. She is the person students and parents call when they need a real human answer.
